metropolitan bike:
icon and metamorphosis

In urban cycling, some objects simply move. Others carry meaning.
The Metropolitan Bike belongs to the second kind. It wasn’t designed for the city itself, but for the idea of movement.

When I look at a motorcycle, I always search for personality, a clear identity, a strong presence.
Minimalism, in this world, is rare. So I started to subtract. To dry out the form. To remove everything that wasn’t essential. I was looking for the exoskeleton.
And at a certain point, the Metropolitan appeared.

It doesn’t live only on the road. It exists in space. In a loft, against a wall, like a metal artifact. It crosses the boundary between use and contemplation. It’s a functional sculpture and in that, it fully expresses the culture of Rizoma.

We worked deeply on the lines. Lines that connect, that flow, that move together without ever feeling tied to a specific time.
When you go beyond trends and reach the line of essence, what you create becomes timeless.

Today, the Metropolitan is our testing ground.

It’s where research happens. Where intuition takes form before anywhere else. It’s the object that anticipates what is coming.

Often, color arrives before shape. And when that happens, it is born here. The Metropolitan is the body where new visions first materialize.

The truth is simple: the Metropolitan does not follow evolution.
It anticipates it.

And the color that is coming, the one not yet revealed, has already found itself here.
